FOR HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS

Your own website. You change the menu and the daily specials yourself.

For hotels with a restaurant, inns and restaurants in German-speaking countries: a modern website you run yourself, no technical knowledge needed. You change the menu, daily specials, seasonal menu, drinks list, opening hours and room prices yourself, and the change applies across the whole website at once.

From €2,990 one-off · Maintenance & hosting €69 a month · Net prices, businesses only To the price list

The access details for the demo are on the login page. In the demo the public site stays in its initial state; what you publish, you see in the preview.

THE PROBLEM

Why many inns' websites lag behind the menu

Three annoyances that businesses with a restaurant know.

  • PDF menus

The menu sits online as a PDF. Every price change means: typeset again, upload, and hope nobody has the old file open. PDFs are also tiresome to read on a phone.

  • An agency for every price change

A phone call, a quote and a few days' wait for every small change. So the menu online is often older than the one on the table.

  • Outdated opening hours on Google

If you cannot keep the hours up to date yourself, Google and AI answers show wrong information. Guests then find a closed door or phone you.

  • Menu always up to date

What you change is on the website at once.

  • Change it yourself, no technical knowledge

One admin area for menu, hours, prices and enquiries.

  • Fast

Pre-rendered pages, images in fitting sizes, local fonts.

  • Prepared to be readable for Google and ChatGPT

Structured data, sitemap and llms.txt come from your live data.

  • Aids for allergens, imprint and data protection

Unchecked allergens and gaps in the imprint block publishing.

  • Your own site instead of a site-builder subscription

Your own domain, no third-party ads, no builder that does not belong to you.

THE WEBSITE FOR YOUR GUESTS

What your guests see

Everything a guest wants to know before a visit, on a fast and easy-to-use site.

  • Menu as a flip book

A double page on a computer, a single page on a phone. The flip book works with the keyboard, and anyone who prefers reading picks “Read as list”. The allergen legend A–R is shown with it.

  • 3D plate carousel

Selected dishes turn as a carousel. A pause button stops it.

  • Live status “Hot kitchen open”

The notice appears while the kitchen is open according to your opening hours and your local time.

  • Room price calculator

Guests work out the price themselves, including the local tourist tax. The result is a non-binding guide price.

  • Enquiry form with spam protection, no puzzle

The protection needs no captcha puzzle: ALTCHA (proof of work), a honeypot field and a minimum time. The guest receives a confirmation of receipt.

  • Light and dark mode

Guests choose the look they prefer.

THE ADMIN AREA

The admin area, feature by feature

You reach it at /verwaltung. For each feature you see a replica screen, what it does and what it brings you.

Replica screen, view only, with sample data of the fictional Gasthof zur Linde.

  1. Menu with four menu types

Main, seasonal, daily and drinks menus. The seasonal menu applies for a period, the daily menu for weekdays or a date. Drinks need a quantity such as 0.25 l. Sections can have their own info page with an image and text. You change the order by dragging or with the “up” and “down” buttons. Deleted dishes stay in the bin for 30 days.

Your benefit: A change is up to date on the website, flip book and QR code at once. Google and AI assistants read the new data on their next visit. No PDF to redo, no agency to call, no outdated menu online.

  2. Edit a dish and allergens

Name, description, several prices with a label (for example “Small portion”), vegetarian or vegan and a photo with mandatory alt text. The allergens A–R carry a status: unchecked, none or declared. The “in carousel” tick adds the dish to the plate carousel. The “Dishes without photo” list shows where an image is still missing. Dishes with unchecked allergens cannot be published.

Your benefit: Nothing goes online without a check, and the legend A–R is added automatically.

Edit a dish: several prices, allergens, photo with alt text
  3. Daily menu

A menu for certain weekdays or for a single date, with its own dishes and prices.

Your benefit: Entered in the morning, online by lunch. It disappears by itself when the day is over.

    Daily menu with weekdays
  4. Seasonal menu

A menu with a period, for example for asparagus time or the game season.

Your benefit: Create it once with a period, and it appears and goes by itself.

  5. Opening hours

For kitchen, bar and reception, per season and with several time slots a day, such as lunch and dinner.

Your benefit: Guests see “Kitchen open” live. Google and AI assistants get the right hours on their next visit, which means fewer phone calls.

Opening hours with several time slots
  6. Room prices and local tourist tax

Double room per person, single occupancy and children (2–5, 6–11 and 12–15 years), each with a valid-from date. The local tourist tax has a cut-off date. Cancellation tiers come on top.

Your benefit: Enter new prices ahead of the cut-off date and they apply from that day by themselves. Guests work out the guide price themselves.

Room prices with valid-from date and cut-off date
  7. Enquiry inbox

All enquiries from the form land in the inbox, with a status. Export runs as CSV. After 12 months enquiries are deleted automatically.

Your benefit: Much less spam, everything in one place, export for bookkeeping. Enquiries are deleted automatically after 12 months.

    Enquiry inbox with status
  8. Preview, publish and versions

Preview first, then publish. The last 20 versions are kept, with a roll-back to any of them. For publishing, the login asks for a fresh code.

Your benefit: Nothing goes online by accident, and a mistake is undone with one click.

    Publishing with a version list
  9. Images

The image editor crops to a square or 4:3, rotates, flips and adjusts brightness, contrast and saturation. It suggests alt text and asks about rights, the author and an AI label. From that, WebP images in four sizes are produced automatically, without EXIF data.

Your benefit: Upload a phone photo, crop it, done. The website stays fast anyway.

Image editor with crop and rights tick
  10. Imprint and privacy policy

You maintain both in the admin area. A gap check shows missing mandatory details and blocks publishing as long as any are missing.

Your benefit: Gaps are shown before the site goes online.

  11. QR table stands

To print, for the menu, the enquiry, Instagram or the home page.

Your benefit: The table card is printed once and still always shows the current menu.

  12. Login with 2FA

Login with a password and an authenticator app, plus 10 recovery codes. The session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Your benefit: Access is protected by a password and a second factor.

Also in the admin area

  • Dishes without photo: a list of what is still missing
  • Sorting by dragging or by button
  • Bin with 30 days
  • Regional suppliers
  • Contact details
  • Cancellation tiers for room bookings
  • Recovery codes for the login

WHAT HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY

What you do not have to maintain

  • Sitemap with lastmod

The sitemap is rebuilt on publishing, with the date of the change.

  • Structured data

JSON-LD for Hotel, Restaurant, Menu, MenuItem and opening hours.

  • llms.txt from live data

A map for ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, generated from your current data.

  • Content readable without JavaScript

Pages are rendered on the server. Search engines and AI assistants read the content directly.

  • AI crawlers not blocked

The robots.txt admits AI crawlers so your menu gets there.

  • Images in four sizes

Every image comes as WebP in four sizes, and the browser loads the fitting one.

  • Nightly encrypted backup

Part of maintenance and hosting. Monitoring is included as well.

PRIVACY, SECURITY, ACCESSIBILITY

Built cleanly

  • No trackers

    The website uses no trackers.

  • Local fonts

The fonts sit on our own server, nothing is loaded from Google Fonts.

  • Security headers and CSP

The site sends security headers and a Content Security Policy.

  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA as a goal

Built to WCAG 2.2, level AA, and checked automatically with axe. This is not a conformity claim.

THE BENEFITS AT A GLANCE

Why this website

  • Fast

Pages are pre-rendered on the server, images are delivered in four sizes and the fonts are local. So the guest's browser has little to load and little to compute.

JSON-LD for Restaurant, Menu and Hotel, opening hours as openingHoursSpecification and a sitemap with lastmod from publishing.

  • Visible on ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity

llms.txt from the live data, content readable without JavaScript and AI crawlers not blocked. AI assistants can read a changed menu on their next visit.

  • The site belongs to you

Your own domain, no site-builder subscription, no third-party ads.

  • Customisable at small prices

Extra features and changes at fixed prices.

CUSTOM AUTOMATIONS

Workflows that take work off your hands

Beyond the admin area we build workflows that take work off your hands. This is done on request, as a fixed-price building block or by quote.

These examples are not part of the basic package.

Home page of strafrecht-mueller.com: court hall in the background, headline “Strafverteidigung ab der ersten Stunde”

Andreas Müller Rechtsanwalt

Munich & Rosenheim

Online power of attorney that automatically produces two separate PDFs, both emailed to the firm.

  • Online power of attorney
  • Two separate PDFs
  • Sent by email

Visit website

A documented example: Andreas Müller Rechtsanwalt

Clients fill in the power of attorney online. Two separate PDFs are created automatically, the power of attorney and the case documents, so the other side only sees the power of attorney. The law firm receives both by email.

Ideas for hotels and restaurants

  • On request

    Registration form online in advance

The guest fills in the guest form before arrival. A ready-made PDF for reception is created from it, on the same principle as the power of attorney above.

Your benefit: No form-filling at the desk, check-in takes minutes.

  • On request

    Vouchers online

Guests order and pay online and receive a PDF with a code by email.

Your benefit: Revenue at night and on public holidays too.

  • On request

    From enquiry to quote

A room enquiry becomes a quote as a PDF at the push of a button, with the prices from the admin area including the local tourist tax.

    Your benefit: You reply faster.

  • On request

    Reviews after departure

After the stay, an email with the link to the Google review goes out automatically.

Your benefit: More reviews without you having to ask.

No. You maintain menus, opening hours, room prices and enquiries in an admin area built for the day-to-day of a business. You can try it in the demo first.

What happens to my current menu?

We take it over by import. You get review notes on what still has to be added, such as allergens or photos.

What does the website cost?

Setup costs from €2,990 one-off. Maintenance and hosting add €69 a month. All prices are net, and the offer is for businesses only.

Who owns the website?

It runs on your own domain, with no site-builder subscription and no third-party ads.
